Who we are

HideNStick Notes is made by Sridhar C, an independent developer. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Sridhar C. You can reach us at hello@codeaprogram.dev.

The app

• Your notes stay on your PC. Notes, settings, backups and the images you add are saved in the app's folder on your computer. The app never uploads them, and we have no server that could receive them.
• No account, analytics, ads or tracking. The app doesn't ask who you are and doesn't measure how you use it.
• Quick capture reads the clipboard only when you ask. When you press Ctrl+Alt+C, the app copies the text you selected, adds it to your note and puts your previous clipboard text back. It doesn't read the clipboard at any other time.
• The welcome tour uses your wallpaper on your PC. The tour shows your desktop wallpaper inside its small demo screens. The picture is read on your computer and never leaves it.
• Buying, the free trial and updates go through the Microsoft Store. The app asks the Microsoft Store whether your trial is active, whether you've bought the app and whether an update is ready. Microsoft handles payments, trials and updates under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We never see your payment details.
• Uninstalling removes your data. Like every Microsoft Store app, uninstalling HideNStick Notes deletes its folder, notes included. Copy your notes first if you want to keep them.
